The process commonly known as “fracking” has been loosely thrown around in scattered debates across the United States. What has people so mad? There are two sides to every story, and the factual side is pretty scary. The argument rests on what’s best for the US economy and how we can effectively reduce our dependency on foreign oil in a “clean” way.
According to energy companies, we have been drilling and fracking around for decades. Granted, drilling has been going on for many years. Horizontal hydraulic fracturing, more commonly known as fracking, has only been practiced for a few. Across the country in places where this process has taken place, strange things start happening…
